Work with a global engineering consultancy for South Australia’s largest road project, utilise AutoCAD for drafting roads and associated infrastructure.
About the Role
Our client is a global professional services firm delivering engineering, design, consulting and project delivery services across multiple sectors including infrastructure and transportation. They have a strong Australian presence and are working on a key project in South Australia.
They are looking for a Drafting Lead to join their team on an initial 6 month contract, ideally based in South Australia however for a strong and experienced candidate they can consider remote working from other locations.
Responsibilities
- Lead drafting activities for a major road project
- Review and check the senior drafters work before being sent out to the client
- Prepare and review drawings and reports
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders
- Adhere to client standards and project specific requirements
- Minimum 7-10+ years experience in senior drafting roles on large infrastructure civil/transport projects
- Experience on major road projects within Australia
- Proven AutoCAD software proficiency
- Roads and earthworks drafting expertise
- Strong coordination and communication skills
