Join a leading project delivery team supporting major sustaining capital works for a high-profile mining operator. This is a key Contracts Specialist role working on a diverse portfolio of brownfield projects across WA mine sites.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for end-to-end contract management – from pre-award strategy and tendering through to post-award administration – across a suite of construction and services packages. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you’ll ensure commercial outcomes are optimised while maintaining compliance with client standards and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute contract and procurement strategies
- Manage RFx processes, tender evaluations, and contract negotiations
- Administer contracts throughout project delivery lifecycle
- Mitigate commercial risk and ensure contractor performance
- Collaborate with legal, project controls, and engineering teams
About You:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Specialist or similar in mining, construction, or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of Australian standard contracts (e.g. AS4000)
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and commercial acumen
- Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, engineering or related field (preferred)
