Join a high-profile mining project and take ownership of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) works from planning to execution. In this pivotal role, you’ll coordinate contractors, maintain technical governance, and ensure all activities meet stringent safety, quality, and compliance standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee delivery of electrical packages, ensuring QA/QC and legislative compliance.
- Act as the key interface between contractors, internal teams, and engineering providers.
- Lead hazard and risk assessments, ensuring safe systems of work.
- Coordinate multiple E&I contractor groups on site, managing access, permits, and scheduling.
- Monitor cost, progress, and scope changes, driving works to completion on time and budget.
- WA “A Grade” Electrical Licence (essential).
- Additional Instrumentation trade certificate (highly desirable).
- HV Switching & Hazardous Area Training (desirable).
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management and WHS units BSBWHS414 & BSBWHS411 (preferred).
- 15+ years’ hands-on E&I experience, plus 5+ years in a supervisory/coordinator role.
- Proven background in mining or heavy industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
