This is a hands-on systems build and implementation role. It is not a policy, assurance, or reporting-only position. You will be responsible for setting up completions frameworks and data structures that projects actively execute against, then transitioning those systems into embedded delivery teams.
The Role You will design and operationalise a completions model that supports:
- Manufacture and FAT integration
- Installation verification
- Punch management
- Certificate-based gate progression
- Structured handover to operations
Key Responsibilities
Completions Management System (CMS) Configuration
- Configure and administer a CMS (OMEGA PIMS or equivalent) to support structured completions workflows
- Define verification boundaries and systemisation structures
- Build ITR structures, punch workflows, certification logic, and dashboards
- Establish CMS configuration change control
- Develop and deliver CMS training modules
- Create and refine CMS processes, standards, and templates
- Receive engineering, procurement, vendor, and contractor datasets in varied formats
- Clean, validate, and rationalise tag and equipment data prior to CMS upload
- Identify traceability gaps, duplication, and inconsistencies
- Establish repeatable data ingestion and quality control processes
- Enable structured data exchange across engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover functions
- Validate systemisation and boundary structures against CMS capability
- Maintain lifecycle separation between manufacture, installation verification, commissioning, and handover
- Develop and standardise ITR libraries in collaboration with commissioning stakeholders
- Support staged handover and certificate-based progression
- Provide CMS governance and technical support during execution phases
- Onboard completions and CMS specialists once systems are established
- Provide oversight of CMS integrity and boundary discipline during execution
- Audit certificate readiness and data quality to support handover
- Hands-on configuration and administration of OMEGA PIMS or a comparable completions management system
- Experience building completions structures from engineering data through to certification and handover
- Strong understanding of installation verification, punch governance, commissioning readiness, and operational handover
- Advanced Excel capability, including Power Query or equivalent data transformation tools
- Proven ability to clean, validate, and reconcile large, imperfect datasets
- Experience integrating engineering registers, vendor data, and contractor records into structured completion workflows
- Process plant or heavy industrial project experience
- Transmission, substations, renewables, or energy infrastructure exposure
- Modular fabrication or off-site assembly environments
- Experience onboarding delivery teams into structured completions systems
- Have only used a CMS as a reporting or tracking tool
- Have not personally configured system structures
- Avoid working directly with raw, unrefined data
- Prefer writing procedures over implementing systems
- Are uncomfortable enforcing data discipline in fast-paced project environments
