Our client is a highly reputable, global systems integrator is seeking a Communications Engineer to design and implement wired and wireless communications solutions delivering voice + data connectivity.
What you’ll be doing
- Plan, design and implement communication systems (wired + wireless voice/data)
- Produce strong project documentation, specs, test docs, BoMs, manuals and as-builts
- Procurement support, equipment configuration, acceptance testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and handover
- Office-based role with ad-hoc site visits for discovery / commissioning as required
- Technical exposure (ideal) Radio systems (e.g., TETRA/P25/DMR), Wi‑Fi/LTE/5G, microwave/fibre backhaul, RF infrastructure (antenna/leaky feeder/filtering), plus networking fundamentals (switching/routing/firewalls).
About you
- Engineering degree (Telecommunications/Electrical/Electronic/Communications) + Engineers Australia eligibility
- Practical experience across design + implementation + commissioning (not just design-only)
- High-trust engineering environment, strong delivery focus
- Strong remuneration aligned to experience
