Initially based in Perth, the role will evolve to include increased site engagement as projects progress through commissioning and handover phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end commissioning strategies and execution plans
- Establish systemisation and completions processes, including management of CCMS platforms
- Lead and coordinate multi-discipline commissioning teams across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes
- Oversee commissioning activities from completions through to energisation, start-up, and operational handover
- Ensure safe execution through robust risk management, SIMOPS coordination, and commissioning controls
- Manage vendor/OEM commissioning activities and ensure compliance with project and operational standards
- Coordinate with stakeholders across operations, maintenance, technical services, and asset management teams
- Consolidate commissioning documentation and facilitate smooth asset handover to operations
- Extensive commissioning experience within mining or heavy industrial environments
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior commissioning leadership or management role
- Strong technical exposure to process systems, including water systems, slurry pumping, and associated infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience commissioning HV/LV electrical systems, drives, control systems, and instrumentation
- Proven capability managing commissioning risk, SIMOPS, completions, and punch-list processes
- Strong experience using CCMS platforms (e.g., Orbit or similar)
- Relevant Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Minerals Processing) or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
- Key leadership role on major brownfields capital projects
- Perth-based Monday to Friday arrangement with future hybrid/site involvement
