You will play a key role in maintaining CAD standards, supporting complex design environments, and driving efficiency through automation and best-practice workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide CAD administration support across mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, and civil design teams
- Act as a super-user for Bentley platforms including MicroStation, OpenBuildings Designer (OBD), and OpenPlant
- Support Autodesk tools including AutoCAD and Inventor
- Administer and support model coordination tools such as iConstruct and Navisworks
- Develop and maintain CAD standards, templates, libraries, and project setups
- Build and improve automation tools and workflows using VBA, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support to design personnel
- Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to support efficient project delivery
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a CAD Administration role
- Advanced knowledge of Bentley design platforms (MicroStation, OBD, OpenPlant)
- Working knowledge of Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Inventor)
- Strong experience with iConstruct and Navisworks
- Advanced scripting or coding skills (VBA, Python, or similar)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Long-term 12+ month contract
