Asset Readiness Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Delivery Team to understand scope and schedule, ensuring operational readiness information is available, including IOM, equipment registers, datasheets, P&IDs, and related documentation.
- Liaise with Asset Owners to clarify operational readiness activities, coordinate any identified gaps, and provide regular progress updates through to handover.
- Work with central support functions—including Maintenance Processes & Systems, NPI & Water Management, Engineering, and Reliability—to ensure compliance with corporate standards and guidelines.
- Conduct spares criticality assessments, cataloguing, and stock holding in collaboration with the Site Maintenance & Engineering Team and Central Asset Management Team, ensuring alignment with Maintenance Philosophy.
- Create and update SAP function locations, equipment masters, BOMs, maintenance plans, maintenance items, and task lists in collaboration with the Site Maintenance & Engineering Team and Central Asset Management Team, adhering to Maintenance Philosophy and legislative requirements, including FMECA.
- Lead and facilitate meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide regular progress reports while actively managing schedules and budgets.
- Trade qualification preferred.
- Maintenance planning experience.
- Proficient in SAP Master Data creation and change processes.
- Relevant experience in the mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of Maintenance Processes.
- In-depth understanding of Operational Readiness Fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Project Delivery Methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all levels.
- Clear and concise communication abilities.
- Proficient in facilitating and presenting at meetings.
