They require an Area Manager – NPI to take full ownership of non-process infrastructure packages across both of their projects.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Delivery Manager, you will lead, integrate, and deliver NPI scopes from study and FEED through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Your scope will cover essential site infrastructure including power, water, communications, buildings, roads, fuel systems, and utilities.
You are the interface—engineering, procurement, construction, contractors.
You keep packages aligned, buildable, safe, and on schedule.
Key Accountabilities
Own. Coordinate. Deliver.
- Manage nominated NPI areas end-to-end
- Define scopes, specs, execution strategies
- Drive design alignment and constructability
- Control cost, risk, schedule, and performance
- Support ECI, work packaging, and contracting strategies
- Lead procurement of major infrastructure equipment
- Manage vendors, FATs, logistics, and delivery
- Support construction, pre-commissioning, and handover
- Close out as-builts and operational documentation
What You Bring
Experience. Judgment. Momentum .
- Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent NPI delivery experience 15+ years in mining, resources, or heavy industry
- Proven NPI / infrastructure package leadership
- Experience across study, FEED, design, and construction, EPC/EPCM delivery background
- Strong remote-site infrastructure knowledge
- Commercial, contract, and stakeholder confidence
- Safety-first mindset with Australian standards knowledge
