We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee the delivery of infrastructure packages across the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement through to construction and commissioning.
The role covers key infrastructure areas including power, water, site buildings, communications, and supporting utilities. You will act as the interface between engineering, procurement, and construction teams, ensuring packages are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position is ideal for someone with strong experience in infrastructure delivery on industrial or remote projects and managing complex packages with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned infrastructure packages from concept to commissioning
- Develop scopes of work, technical specifications, and execution plans
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines and construction teams
- Support early contractor engagement to improve constructability, schedule, and cost outcomes
- Lead procurement, vendor management, and delivery of major equipment and services
- Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and handover
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Monitor package budgets, schedules, risks, and performance
- Civil Engineering degree or relevant qualification
- Extensive experience managing infrastructure or NPI packages on large projects
- Strong knowledge of industrial site infrastructure, utilities, and systems
- Experience in EPC/EPCM project delivery environments and early contractor engagement
- Excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Practical, solutions-focused, and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to manage complex interfaces and drive delivery outcomes
