Job Title - Lead Structural Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead Structural Engineer to lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to quickly identify high-level challenges and implement effective solutions, with a strong understanding of the associated cost and schedule implications.

What you’ll do

• Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities
• Ensure all work meets relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Collaborate with architects, civil, and MEP engineers to deliver coordinated designs
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications
• Oversee site inspections and provide expert technical guidance during construction
• Mentor and develop junior engineers
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Lead design reviews and client meetings with confidence

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• 10–15 years’ relevant experience, ideally with PE or CEng certification
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and safety standards
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills

• Experience with seismic and wind load analysis
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures
• Familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Tekla Structures)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
