This is a technically challenging role working across detailed design, assurance and construction readiness on a complex brownfields environment.
You’ll collaborate closely with an Engineer of Record, EPCM partners and specialist consultants to deliver safe, compliant and constructible tailings infrastructure aligned to GISTM and WA regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support detailed design of tailings dams, embankments and staged raises
- Coordinate liner systems, seepage control, drainage and water management
- Interface with Engineer of Record and specialist designers on reviews and assurance
- Manage design interfaces across tailings, dam works and infrastructure packages
- Review and coordinate reports, drawings, specifications and BoDs
- Contribute to constructability, staging logic and construction readiness
- Support regulatory submissions and independent technical reviews
About You
- Degree‑qualified Civil, Geotechnical or Mining Engineer
- 8+ years’ experience in tailings, dams or large earth structure design
- Strong knowledge of TSF design, liner systems and seepage control
- Proven experience in EPCM, owner’s team or consulting environments
- Confident working across disciplines with multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience on major brownfield mining projects
- Site exposure during construction or early works phases
