We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Health & Safety Advisor to join a major resources project in a key leadership position. Reporting directly to the Site HSE Manager, you will play a critical role in providing safety leadership across construction and project delivery activities, influencing frontline teams and contractors while driving a proactive safety culture. This is a senior site-based opportunity suited to a safety professional who can build strong stakeholder relationships, coach leaders and ensure high standards of HSE performance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible safety leadership and mentoring to supervisors, contractors and project personnel.
- Lead field interactions, workplace inspections, permit verification and critical risk assurance activities.
- Facilitate risk assessments, JHAs and hazard management processes.
- Support and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action management.
- Deliver high-quality safety coaching, toolbox talks and workforce engagement initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, site standards and HSE management systems.
- Analyse safety trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with project leadership to achieve safety and operational objectives.
- Significant experience in a Senior HSE Advisor or Health & Safety Advisor role within mining, resources, construction or major capital projects.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, critical risk management and contractor safety.
- Experience working within contractor, EPCM or client-side project environments.
- Well-developed coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Cert IV, Diploma or Degree in WHS/OHS or a related discipline.
- Current White Card and Driver's Licence.
- Senior site leadership position reporting directly to the Site HSE Manager.
- 2:1 FIFO roster.
- 11.5 hour paid days.
