Technical Resources is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Superintendent to join a major resource construction project in the Pilbara. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership role on a large-scale project, working closely with a well-established safety team and contributing to the successful delivery of critical project outcomes.

This position offers a 2:1 FIFO roster, 12-hour paid days, and a 12 month engagement. 

About the Role Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will provide leadership, guidance and oversight across project safety performance, ensuring compliance with site standards, client requirements and legislative obligations.

You'll lead a team of experienced safety professionals while partnering with project stakeholders to drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Senior HSE Advisors, HSE Advisors and Safety Administrators
  • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of project health and safety systems
  • Support operational teams in identifying, managing and mitigating project risks
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, client and project-specific safety requirements
  • Facilitate incident investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned processes
  • Monitor safety performance and provide reporting to project leadership
  • Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and stakeholder engagement
About You
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety (minimum)
  • 8+ years' experience in senior health and safety roles within construction, mining, resources or major project environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading safety teams on large-scale projects
  • Strong understanding of contractor management and EPCM project delivery environments
  • Experience working with safety management systems and reporting platforms
  • Exposure to Rio Tinto safety systems, including Forwood and Enablon, will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
