Mining & Resources Projects | Perth Based | Contract Opportunity
Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to join a high-performing engineering and project delivery team supporting major mining and resource sector developments.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of both greenfield and brownfield projects, working across study and execution phases within a collaborative and technically focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structural design and drafting solutions for mining and materials handling projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D structural models and drawings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project delivery.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Support occasional site visits as required.
- Minimum 6-7 years' experience as a Structural Designer within the mining and resources sector.
- Strong exposure to materials handling infrastructure and associated plant structures.
- Advanced proficiency in MicroStation (2D and 3D).
- Experience with Autodesk Advance Steel highly regarded.
- Familiarity with OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within project teams.
- Willingness to undertake occasional site travel when required.
- Initial 6-month contract with potential extension.
- Perth office-based opportunity.
