You will be responsible for overseeing environmental compliance activities, managing approvals and land disturbance processes, conducting audits and inspections, and providing environmental guidance to project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage environmental documentation including EMPs, procedures and environmental registers
- Conduct environmental inspections, audits and monitoring programs
- Verify compliance with environmental approvals, licences and project commitments
- Identify environmental non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions
- Support permitting requirements for surveying, pegging and project execution activities
- Manage land disturbance processes and assess environmental constraints and impacts
- Build strong relationships with client representatives, regulators and contractors
- Provide environmental advice and support to site and project teams
- Previous experience as a Senior or Lead Environmental Advisor within mining, resources or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of environmental approvals, compliance and land disturbance processes
- Experience managing environmental management plans, procedures and reporting requirements
- Proven ability to conduct environmental audits, inspections and monitoring activities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a FIFO environment
- Previous Pilbara project experience highly regarded
