We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to join a well-established organisation within the civil and infrastructure sector. This role plays a critical part in developing, managing, and overseeing project and tender schedules to support successful project delivery.

As a Senior Planner, you will provide expert planning guidance to project teams, ensure construction programs are practical and achievable, and maintain clear visibility over project timelines and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and management of tender programs, working closely with bid and project teams to support timely, high-quality submissions
  • Establish and maintain project baselines, master schedules, and progress reporting frameworks
  • Guide project teams in developing construction programs aligned with scope, sequencing, and delivery objectives
  • Review contractor and third-party schedules, identifying risks and proactively mitigating potential impacts
  • Provide strategic planning input, including methodology development, work breakdown structures, and commissioning schedules
  • Support stakeholders by offering clear, pragmatic planning advice and solutions
  • Anticipate project challenges and contribute to effective problem-solving initiatives
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to improve project delivery efficiency
  • Ensure planning activities align with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Manage competing priorities while contributing to the ongoing development of planning capability within the business
About You
  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in project planning, including several years in a senior-level role
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and schedule risk management
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively while providing independent, expert advice
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
