As a Senior Planner, you will provide expert planning guidance to project teams, ensure construction programs are practical and achievable, and maintain clear visibility over project timelines and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of tender programs, working closely with bid and project teams to support timely, high-quality submissions
- Establish and maintain project baselines, master schedules, and progress reporting frameworks
- Guide project teams in developing construction programs aligned with scope, sequencing, and delivery objectives
- Review contractor and third-party schedules, identifying risks and proactively mitigating potential impacts
- Provide strategic planning input, including methodology development, work breakdown structures, and commissioning schedules
- Support stakeholders by offering clear, pragmatic planning advice and solutions
- Anticipate project challenges and contribute to effective problem-solving initiatives
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to improve project delivery efficiency
- Ensure planning activities align with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Manage competing priorities while contributing to the ongoing development of planning capability within the business
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in project planning, including several years in a senior-level role
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and schedule risk management
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to work collaboratively while providing independent, expert advice
- Eligibility to work in Australia
