The Role
You’ll provide hands-on, site-based engineering and/or project management support to electrical construction works, partnering closely with supervisors, trades, QA, planners, and client reps to deliver safely, on time, and to spec.
Key Responsibilities
- Support electrical construction delivery on site
- Prepare and manage work packs and technical queries
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, ITPs/ITRs, inspection records
- Assist with testing, completions, and commissioning activities
- Manage redline mark-ups and as-built documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholder teams
- Ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and site procedures
- Electrical Tertiary qualification with 8+ years’ electrical engineering experience (Australian projects)
- Must have site-based construction experience
- Strong understanding of installation, testing, QA/QC, and completions
- Oil & gas, LNG, mining, or heavy industrial background
- Experience with switchboards, distribution, controls, HVAC, or temp power
- Familiar with completions systems (e.g. iPIMS, Aconex)
