Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of mechanical work packages, including structural and piping scopes
- Manage contractor performance, engagement, and compliance on site
- Oversee QA processes, inspections, and design adherence
- Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and resources
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Monitor costs, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Promote and uphold a strong safety culture
- Provide regular reporting on project performance and KPIs
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in site-based project delivery within mining or heavy industry
- Proven experience across construction, testing, and commissioning phases
- Strong contractor and contract management capability
- Experience in client-side or owner’s team environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail with strong technical interpretation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and team collaboration
