About the Role Reporting to the Technical Executive, you will play a key role in the delivery of mechanical engineering solutions across multiple projects. You'll work closely with a specialist team of engineers, contributing to studies, detailed engineering, equipment selection, piping systems, plant layouts, and bulk materials handling designs.
This role offers a strong pipeline of work and exposure to a variety of commodities and processing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mechanical engineering design and technical solutions
- Support study, FEED and detailed engineering activities
- Contribute to brownfield mining and mineral processing projects
- Develop and review piping systems and mechanical equipment designs
- Assist with wet plant layouts and bulk materials handling systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders
- Ensure designs meet safety, quality and project requirements
- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
- Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer within mining or resources projects
- Exposure to both wet and dry plant processing environments
- Strong brownfield project experience
- Experience across study and engineering phases of projects
- Knowledge of piping, mechanical equipment and plant layout design
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
