About the Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and engineering expertise across a range of process plant projects, supporting multidisciplinary teams throughout study and delivery phases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and delivery of mechanical systems for mineral processing and mine infrastructure projects
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, reports and design documentation
- Support feasibility studies, detailed design and project execution activities
- Coordinate closely with process, piping, structural and electrical disciplines
- Provide technical guidance to project teams
- Mentor and support junior engineers across the business
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
- Significant experience within mining, minerals processing or heavy industry projects
- Strong background delivering mechanical engineering packages from study through to execution phases
- Experience on gold processing projects highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of Australian engineering standards and industry best practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
