Working as part of a highly respected engineering team, you will lead and execute critical power system studies supporting both greenfield developments and brownfield upgrades for some of WA's largest resource and infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed Arc Flash, Load Flow, Short Circuit and Cable Sizing to support engineering and design activities.
- Perform power system analysis and protection coordination for HV and LV networks.
- Provide technical input across engineering, design, commissioning and operational phases of projects.
- Support electrical system upgrades, plant expansions and asset optimisation initiatives.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations and recommendations for clients and project teams.
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer.
- Proven experience delivering power system studies within mining, resources, energy, utilities or heavy industry environments.
- Strong understanding of HV/LV power systems, protection systems and electrical network performance.
- Experience using industry-standard power system modelling software.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Work on a diverse portfolio of mining, energy and industrial projects across WA.
- Exposure to both greenfield developments and complex brownfield upgrades.
