Opportunity Overview
- Join a leading energy infrastructure organisation delivering critical brownfield and sustaining capital projects
- Work across gas, energy transition, and industrial infrastructure assets
- Strong pipeline of work supporting ongoing asset integrity, upgrades, and optimisation programs
- Reporting to a Principal Engineer, you will support delivery of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) projects
- Focus on design review, project governance, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and asset requirements
- Collaborate closely with project teams, maintenance functions, and external vendors
- Define EC&I system requirements aligned to operational and engineering standards
- Provide technical input across feasibility, concept, and FEED stages
- Oversee design, construction, and commissioning performance of electrical and control systems
- Support project delivery through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Provide technical support during project execution, including troubleshooting and site activities
- Contribute to asset lifecycle and obsolescence management initiatives
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and project governance processes
- Manage change processes, ensuring design and system updates are controlled and documented
- Support budget, forecasting, and CAPEX planning activities
- Drive quality assurance across design, testing, and commissioning phases
- Strong experience in utilities, energy, or industrial infrastructure environments
- Proven capability in engineering governance, standards compliance, and quality systems
- Experience working on brownfield and/or sustaining capital projects
- Solid understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
- Experience with control systems such as Rockwell, GE, or similar platforms
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and safety requirements within engineering environments
- Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Systems Engineering
- Eligibility for professional membership (or working towards chartered status)
- Demonstrated project engineering or project management capability
