As the Senior HSE Manager, you will be the most senior HSE leader on the project, responsible for establishing and maintaining the systems, governance and culture required to deliver a safe and compliant project. You'll work closely with project leadership, construction teams and contractors, ensuring HSE principles are embedded into decision-making, planning and execution.
Your role will include developing project-wide HSE strategies, leading assurance programs, overseeing audits and investigations, promoting workforce participation, and driving best-practice safety leadership across all project phases. You'll also represent the project in governance forums, regulatory engagements and executive reviews.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Significant HSE leadership experience within large-scale EPCM, mining, resources or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation, governance and risk management practices.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
