Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll play a key role in the delivery of HV and LV electrical systems for mining, mineral processing and industrial facilities. This role suits an engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, producing high-quality engineering deliverables, and remaining actively involved in design.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical engineering projects from concept through to detailed design and procurement.
- Design and review HV and LV electrical systems for mining and industrial facilities.
- Develop detailed engineering deliverables including SLDs, schematics, termination drawings and design packages.
- Perform engineering calculations such as load flow, fault level, cable sizing, equipment sizing, earthing and lightning protection studies.
- Prepare technical specifications, scopes of work and procurement documentation.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer.
- 8+ years' experience within mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong background in detailed design and technical delivery.
- Experience preparing engineering calculations, drawings and design documentation.
- Power system studies experience highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
