You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of critical mining infrastructure projects.
This position offers a blend of office-based engineering, design coordination, stakeholder engagement, and practical site involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering work packages from design through construction
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Review and manage engineering deliverables, specifications, and technical documentation
- Provide construction support and technical guidance during project execution
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
- Support project planning, scheduling, risk management, and cost control activities
- Degree-qualified Civil Engineer with 10+ years experience on Australian mining projects.
- Must live south of the river.
- Mining or resources project experience
- Bulk earthworks design and construction
- Road design and construction, particularly haul roads
- Surface water drainage and sump design
- Design management and contractor coordination
- Construction and site-based project experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- 12-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
