We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to deliver technical excellence on renewable energy projects, including overhead transmission lines, solar farms, and wind farm civil packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage detailed engineering design packages and enabling works for large-scale energy projects.
- Undertake and review civil engineering designs, including site development, bulk earthworks, and drainage systems.
- Specify and provide technical input to basis of designs; review and draft technical reports.
- Establish and update technical design standards and procedures to ensure best practice.
- Support construction teams with procurement and technical queries.
- Manage and implement design changes and optimisations for project efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks and reviews of design documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Engineering tertiary qualification (Civil/Structural).
- Extensive detailed design engineering experience with bulk earthworks.
- Must have previous experience on renewable energy projects.
- Onsite construction experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge and application of Australian Standards (Civil/Structural).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented, highly self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks.
