Senior Civil Designer Location: Perth

We are working with a leading owner-operator delivering large-scale mining, energy and infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally. Due to ongoing project demand, an opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join a multidisciplinary engineering and design team.
This role offers exposure across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage studies through to detailed design and execution. You will contribute to major infrastructure developments while working alongside experienced engineering professionals in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop civil design solutions and 3D models for roads, earthworks and supporting infrastructure.
- Prepare design documentation including general arrangements, plan and profiles, drainage, pavement, utility layouts and swept path analysis.
- Produce and maintain drawing registers and design documentation in accordance with project requirements.
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to develop integrated design solutions.
- Import, manage and interpret survey, geospatial and topographic datasets.
- Develop mapping and spatial outputs to support engineering and approval activities.
- Process surface elevation, LiDAR and survey data for use in design models.
- Ensure assigned work is delivered to required quality, schedule and budget targets.
- Participate in design reviews, workshops and project meetings.
- Produce designs in accordance with relevant Australian and international standards.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a senior civil design role.
- Strong background in civil infrastructure, earthworks, drainage and non-process infrastructure projects.
- Experience producing technical design packages and construction documentation.
- Advanced capability with 12d Model and Bentley MicroStation.
- Experience working with spatial and geospatial datasets.
- Exposure to GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Pro, Global Mapper or similar would be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in BIM and 3D design environments is highly regarded.
- Experience developing 12d customisations or macros will be viewed favourably.
- Diploma of Civil Engineering or similar qualification preferred.
