We are working with a well-established engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Designer to support a range of major resource and industrial projects.
This role is initially offered on a contract basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the role Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering civil design packages across large-scale industrial and resource sector projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Civil design and drafting for bulk earthworks, site development and drainage infrastructure
- Preparation of design documentation and construction drawings
- Coordination with engineers, designers and project teams
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
- Ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards
- Proven experience as a Civil Designer on mining, heavy industrial, energy or similar infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in bulk earthworks and drainage design
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, or strong 12d experience with the ability to transition into Civil 3D
- Experience producing detailed design and construction documentation
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to work within a collaborative project environment
