About the Opportunity
A major Tier 1 mining project in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to join the EPCM project team on a site-based FIFO arrangement.
This is your chance to take ownership of safety delivery on a high-profile construction project — working closely with site leadership, contractor management teams and frontline crews to drive a strong, practical safety culture from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing health and safety subject matter expertise to the EPCM project team
- Driving positive safety interactions and practical outcomes aligned with industry best practice
- Mentoring and coaching contractor and project management teams on safety leadership
- Supporting incident investigations, reporting, corrective actions and effectiveness monitoring
- Leading the implementation of safety initiatives including CRM and recognition programs
- Facilitating Level 2 Risk Assessments and Critical Risk Assessment Workshops
- Monitoring contractor compliance with the site Health and Safety Management System and legislation
- Analysing contractor safety trends and data, and reporting on findings
- Helping stakeholders interpret health and safety compliance requirements and legislative obligations
- Leading by example and contributing to continuous improvement across all aspects of HSE
- 8+ years' experience in the mining industry, including construction projects and operations
- Proven ability to lead in the field and influence behaviours at all levels — particularly among contracting partners
- Experience managing and engaging contractors on large-scale projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical decision-making in high-pressure environments
- Effective communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong time management with the ability to prioritise and work efficiently
- Solid computer literacy
