Based in Perth, this is an end-to-end project quality role where you'll work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to set and uphold quality standards across a complex, multi-discipline environment.
What you'll do
- Provide quality advice and guidance across all project and functional teams, supporting the full lifecycle from FEL through to closeout
- Develop and maintain the Quality Management framework, including project-level quality plans, audit schedules, and corrective action tracking
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines to define technical quality requirements for equipment and material packages against standards such as AS, API, ASME, IEC, and ISO
- Review and approve contractor and supplier quality deliverables, technical data, drawings, and traceability documentation
- Undertake tender and bid evaluations, identifying quality risks and recommending mitigation strategies
- Plan and conduct project quality audits in line with Business Unit requirements
- Facilitate quality inductions and training for project staff; champion a positive quality culture across all project activities
- Monitor and report on quality health and status across the portfolio to project and senior stakeholders
- Actively engage with clients, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors through communication forums
What you'll bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality role within EP, EPC, EPCM, or CM project environments — oil and gas, energy, or resources sector preferred
- Solid understanding and practical application of engineering and industry standards (AS, API, ASME, IEC, ISO)
- Experience facilitating risk-based quality assessments across projects, materials, and equipment packages
- Material and equipment quality inspection experience, including acceptance testing
- Background working with OEM providers and Tier 1 contractors
