Project Supervisor | FIFO 8:6 Roster | Long-Term Contract Opportunity

Technical Resources is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of multidisciplinary projects across major operational environments. This is a site-based leadership role offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and commissioning activities, working across multiple project work fronts within a dynamic mining and infrastructure environment.

Working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, you will provide visible field leadership, manage contractor performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. While your background will ideally be in civil construction, you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience across multiple disciplines while working alongside Project Engineers and technical specialists.

About the Role As Project Supervisor, you will take ownership of day-to-day site execution activities, ensuring work fronts are planned, resourced and coordinated effectively. You will act as the key link between contractors, operations, engineering and project teams to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise contractors across active project work fronts
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project activities including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and commissioning works
  • Conduct field leadership activities, toolbox meetings and safety interactions
  • Ensure permits, isolations, risk assessments, drawings and approvals are in place prior to work commencing
  • Monitor contractor safety, productivity, quality and compliance
  • Coordinate inspections, hold points, testing and QA/QC requirements
  • Identify and escalate safety, schedule, quality, cost and technical risks
  • Support commissioning, completions, defect rectification and project handover activities
  • Maintain accurate daily reporting, progress tracking and construction records
  • Liaise closely with project stakeholders to minimise impacts to ongoing operations
About You You will bring strong site-based supervision experience coupled with a proactive approach to leadership, safety and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience supervising civil construction or infrastructure projects within mining, resources, infrastructure or heavy industry environments
  • Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, roads, concrete and associated civil construction activities
  • Proven contractor management and coordination experience
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, ITPs, permits and work packs
  • Strong understanding of work-front planning and construction sequencing
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to identify and manage construction risks and field issues
  • Current unrestricted Australian C-Class Driver's Licence
  • S26 exam completion
Highly Regarded
  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Trade Qualification in Civil Construction or related discipline
  • Experience working across mining, rail, port or sustaining capital projects
  • Exposure to multidisciplinary projects involving civil, mechanical, structural and electrical interfaces
  • Experience with QA/QC processes, inspections, hold points and testing requirements
  • Knowledge of contractor progress measurement and claim validation
  • Experience using systems such as INX, SAP, Aconex, Microsoft Teams and Excel
