Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving project performance, managing project teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful execution and delivery of medium to large-scale mining and mineral processing projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary engineering, procurement and project delivery teams.
- Ensure project outcomes meet client requirements, contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
- Oversee project controls including cost management, scheduling, reporting, forecasting and change management.
- Drive a strong safety culture with a focus on HSE, environmental and community obligations.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, procedures and work practices.
- Monitor project performance to ensure budgets, schedules and deliverables are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop project team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience delivering mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong background within an EPCM or engineering consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated success managing large, multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience delivering projects across Australia, with international project exposure highly regarded.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in project controls and contract management.
- Deep understanding of constructability, safety, environmental and industrial relations requirements.
- Natural leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive project outcomes.
- Experience across gold, base metals, lithium or other mineral processing projects will be highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
