Initially focused on Definitive Feasibility Studies (DFS), this role offers a clear pathway into project execution, providing exposure to several concurrent capital projects through to completion.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and engineering consultants, you will play a key role in managing design activities, facilitating design reviews, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering and design activities throughout study and execution phases
- Coordinate and review consultant deliverables
- Lead and participate in design reviews and technical workshops
- Engage with operational, maintenance, and project stakeholders
- Monitor project progress against scope, schedule, and budget targets
- Support risk management, value engineering, and constructability reviews
- Provide technical input across process plant and materials handling infrastructure projects
- Ensure designs align with operational requirements and project objectives
- Degree-qualified Engineer
- 4-8 years' experience in a Project Engineering role
- Experience working for an engineering consultancy, owner/operator, or EPCM environment
- Background in process plants, materials handling, bulk materials, mineral processing, or similar industrial facilities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Practical, solutions-focused approach to engineering and project delivery
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering consultants is highly regarded
