We are seeking a Project Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to join an owner's team supporting the development and delivery of multiple brownfield and expansion projects within an established mining operation.

Initially focused on Definitive Feasibility Studies (DFS), this role offers a clear pathway into project execution, providing exposure to several concurrent capital projects through to completion.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and engineering consultants, you will play a key role in managing design activities, facilitating design reviews, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering and design activities throughout study and execution phases
  • Coordinate and review consultant deliverables
  • Lead and participate in design reviews and technical workshops
  • Engage with operational, maintenance, and project stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress against scope, schedule, and budget targets
  • Support risk management, value engineering, and constructability reviews
  • Provide technical input across process plant and materials handling infrastructure projects
  • Ensure designs align with operational requirements and project objectives
About You
  • Degree-qualified Engineer
  • 4-8 years' experience in a Project Engineering role
  • Experience working for an engineering consultancy, owner/operator, or EPCM environment
  • Background in process plants, materials handling, bulk materials, mineral processing, or similar industrial facilities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach to engineering and project delivery
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering consultants is highly regarded
