Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you will play a key role in coordinating engineering, technical and commercial activities while supporting the progression of a strategic growth initiative.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early to mid-career Project Engineer looking to gain exposure to project development, business case delivery and stakeholder engagement within a major resources environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and project coordination support across all phases of the project
- Monitor project schedules, costs, risks and deliverables
- Coordinate laboratory test work programs and technical reviews
- Liaise with engineering consultants, vendors and key stakeholders
- Support cost estimating, reporting and project controls activities
- Maintain project documentation, action registers and work breakdown structures
- Prepare presentations, technical reports and project updates
- Assist with project governance, risk management and contractor interfaces
- Tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer with 3–7 years' industry experience
- Previous project engineering or owner's team experience highly regarded
- Strong organisational, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience supporting project controls, reporting and coordination activities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint
- Exposure to procurement, information management or business systems is advantageous
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities
