An established engineering consultancy delivering major resources and minerals processing projects is seeking Process Engineers, Senior Process Engineers and Lead Process Engineers to join its growing Brisbane team.
Working across studies, design and project delivery phases, you'll contribute to technically challenging mineral processing projects while collaborating with a highly experienced multidisciplinary engineering team. Responsibilities will include:
- Developing mass balances, process flowsheets and design criteria
- Preparing PFDs, P&IDs, operating cost estimates and control philosophies
- Interpreting metallurgical testwork data and preparing technical reports
- Supporting study, FEED and detailed design activities
- Evaluating vendor submissions and providing technical recommendations for process equipment selection
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams and clients
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers (Senior and Lead levels)
- Contributing to safe, efficient and practical process design solutions
- Degree qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years post-graduate experience in process engineering
- Strong minerals processing experience within a consulting environment
- Experience in flotation, mineral processing and related industries
- Proven ability to produce high-quality process engineering deliverables
- Strong technical report writing and communication skills
- Experience interpreting metallurgical testwork data and developing process design criteria
- Commitment to technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Gold project experience
- Hydrometallurgical processing experience
- Experience working across studies and project execution phases
- Previous consultancy experience within the resources sector
