We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Engineer to join our team—an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative infrastructure, mining assets, and sustainable energy initiatives on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.

About the Role

As a Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in optimizing our ore processing facilities to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and throughput. You'll work closely with operations, control room, and metallurgical teams to analyze plant performance, identify process improvements, and support project activities—all while upholding safety and environmental standards. Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the mineral processing industry, ideally with dry and wet mineral processing and Iron Ore operations
  • Tertiary qualification in chemical, metallurgical engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting, particularly with MS Excel
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with plant operators, quality teams, and technical staff
  • High computer literacy, including familiarity with SAP and delay accounting systems; SCADA experience is a plus
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with SAP, delay accounting systems, or SCADA systems
  • Involvement in projects, trials, or shutdown activities related to process optimization
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards for metallurgical labs
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Tertiary degree in chemical, metallurgical engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience in mineral processing, with a focus on iron ore
