THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re seeking an experienced Process Concentrator Trainer to support a site-based Processing Operations team. In this hands-on role, you’ll deliver day-to-day training, support onboarding, and run VOC/competency activities to ensure the team meets legislated requirements and site standards.
This is an ideal opportunity for a trainer/assessor with strong processing exposure who enjoys being on the floor, coaching operators, lifting capability, and driving a positive safety culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver day-to-day training to Processing Operations personnel to support compliance and capability uplift.
• Assist with design, development and implementation of training, inductions, VOC assessments and site onboarding.
• Identify training needs, research solutions and develop training programs aligned to regulatory and site procedure requirements.
• Conduct training and assessments to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain training/assessment records in line with statutory and company requirements.
• Proactively and professionally address non-compliance; promote coaching, mentoring and skills sharing.
• Provide technical advice and support to leaders and teams regarding competency frameworks.
• Conduct training audits to ensure compliance with legislation and site procedures.
• Participate in safety culture initiatives and ensure HSE incidents are reported; support incident investigations when required.
• Support budget/expenditure processes including purchase orders and invoice review (as required).
• Build effective relationships across departments and with stakeholders; contribute to a strong team culture.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING (ESSENTIAL)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Valid HR Class Driver’s Licence
• Work Safety at Heights
• Confined Space Entry Permit
• First Aid Certificate
• Experience in a similar training role within the mining industry
• Strong operational understanding of a mineral processing plant / mining environment
• Solid computer literacy and record-keeping discipline
DESIRABLE
• ICAM Incident Lead Investigator Certification (preferred).
