About the Role
An experienced NPI Manager is sought to support the development and execution of a major metals mining project in Western Australia.
The role will focus on a large‑scale greenfield development project currently progressing through study and early execution phases. This is a senior role with responsibility across NPI scopes from DFS through FEED, early works, construction and commissioning. You will be engaged through a leading Australian project delivery consultancy and work closely with the owner’s project team and key delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Non‑Process Infrastructure packages across the full project lifecycle
- Manage NPI scopes including:
- Power generation and distribution
- Water supply and site services
- Buildings, workshops, warehouses and camps
- Roads, drainage and general civil works
- Communications and site utilities
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
- Develop and manage scopes of work, execution strategies and contractors
- Drive safety‑in‑design, constructability and early contractor engagement
- Interface with project controls to manage cost, schedule and risk
- Support early site works through to construction readiness
You will be a senior NPI or infrastructure professional with strong mining project experience, ideally gained on large Australian resource developments.
Key Requirements Include:
- Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil)
- Extensive experience delivering NPI or infrastructure scopes on mining projects
- Strong understanding of remote site infrastructure and utilities
- Experience across study, FEED and construction phases
- Proven ability to manage contractors and multiple discipline interfaces
- Strong safety leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Perth‑based with willingness to travel to site as required
