What you will deliver
- Execute underground and/or open pit surface surveys, development mark-ups and production set-outs.
- Maintain and validate survey control networks, and monitor geotechnical prisms.
- Capture development scans with the Leica MS60 and production void scans with the Elios 3 drone.
- Process survey, scan and drone data; maintain accurate as-built records and mine void models.
- Produce survey plans, reports and month-end deliverables.
- Maintain equipment calibration, provide technical advice and improve survey workflows.
- A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or tertiary qualification in Surveying, backed by a minimum of 3 years underground hard-rock mining experience.
- Proficiency in Deswik, mine surveying workflows and Leica survey equipment.
- Experience in underground laser scanning and spatial data management.
- A safety-first approach, attention to detail and strong collaboration with operational teams.
- Experience with Elios 3 drones, UAV data processing or Trimble GNSS/GPS will be highly regarded.
- A Remote Pilot Licence (RePL), or willingness to obtain one, is advantageous, as is progress towards Grade 1 Mine Surveyor certification.
