A large WA enterprise is looking for someone to take technical ownership of its collaboration platforms. That means keeping Microsoft 365 stable for a big user base and getting Atlassian under proper governance.
You'll set the direction for both platforms, from roadmap and standards through to lifecycle. You'll also be the senior escalation point when something complex cuts across teams. The role leads a small squad of platform engineers and SMEs, and you'll be expected to make their day-to-day operations simpler, more automated and more self-service.
What you'll be doing
- Leading technical strategy, standards and lifecycle for Microsoft 365 and Atlassian
- Overseeing service health and escalations for supporting SaaS tools such as Miro, monday.com and LucidLink
- Reducing manual effort through automation, simplification and self-service
- Working with Cyber, Identity, Architecture, Service Desk and vendors to land changes cleanly
- Backing practical uses of AI to improve service operations and user experience
- Keeping the platforms secure, supportable and scalable
- Strong experience with at least one major enterprise collaboration platform (Microsoft 365 and/or Atlassian preferred)
- A track record of leading across several platforms or teams, not just one system
- Solid grounding in platform governance, lifecycle, change, and incident and problem management
- A practical understanding of identity, security and integration in a cloud/SaaS environment
- ServiceNow (or similar ITSM) exposure and relevant Microsoft, Atlassian or cloud certifications are a bonus
- Location: Perth CBD, with flexible work-from-home arrangements
- Roster: Monday to Friday, 40 hrs/week
- Type: Contract
