You will be responsible for the engineering and design of bulk materials handling systems across the project lifecycle, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers and clients to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop bulk materials handling systems and equipment.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications and design documentation.
- Support the design of conveyors, transfer stations, stackers, reclaimers, crushers and associated infrastructure.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, detailed design and project execution activities.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in site inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
- Build strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience within mining, resources, ports, minerals processing or heavy industry projects.
- Knowledge of bulk materials handling systems and associated equipment.
- Experience in engineering design, project delivery and multidisciplinary environments.
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively within collaborative project teams.
