You'll provide technical oversight across structural engineering projects, maintain strong client relationships, and play a key role in mentoring engineers while remaining hands-on in design and project delivery.
The Role
- Lead the delivery of structural engineering packages for sustaining capital and brownfields projects
- Review, approve and sign off structural designs, drawings and calculations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a growing team of engineers and designers
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across major mining operations
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, practical and cost-effective engineering solutions
- Support business growth and contribute to the expansion of the structural capability in Western Australia
- Degree qualified Structural Engineer
- Chartered status and RPEQ/CPEng (or eligibility) highly regarded
- Extensive experience delivering structural engineering projects within mining, resources, heavy industry or related sectors
- Demonstrated ability to review and approve engineering calculations and design documentation
- Strong client-facing experience with proven stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Practical, hands-on approach with excellent technical problem-solving abilities
