Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll provide discipline leadership, review engineering deliverables, guide design quality and ensure compliance with Australian Standards, regulations and project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical governance, checking and discipline engineering delivery.
- Prepare and review feasibility, concept and detailed design packages.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, Australian Standard and project requirements.
- Develop specifications, design methods and functional requirements.
- Support procurement, technical evaluations, construction and commissioning.
- Mentor engineers and drive best-practice engineering outcomes.
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years’ mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial experience.
- Strong discipline technical capability and design governance experience.
- Proven leadership, mentoring and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong understanding of HSE, statutory requirements and industry standards.
- Site, construction, commissioning or operations exposure highly regarded.
