What You Will Lead
- Civil design delivery for access roads, construction pads, bulk and detailed earthworks, pipelines, mining support and associated infrastructure.
- Technical quality, reviews, assurance and compliance with Australian and international standards.
- Resource planning and effective utilisation across multiple projects and portfolios.
- Coordination with customers, project disciplines, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
- Engineering studies, calculations, technical recommendations, progress reporting and final deliverables.
- Scope definition, change management, bid inputs, hours estimates and technical clarifications.
- Mentoring and development of engineers and designers across local and global teams.
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- 15+ years of civil engineering design experience in mining, energy or infrastructure.
- Proven leadership of engineering teams delivering complex work to demanding schedules.
- Strong technical design capability and practical knowledge of 3D modelling and drafting workflows.
- Sound knowledge of statutory requirements, Australian Standards and relevant international standards.
- A lean delivery mindset, commercial awareness and a consistent focus on quality.
- Clear communication, sound judgement and the confidence to resolve technical and customer interface issues.
- Lead technically challenging projects for major customers.
- Influence engineering standards, delivery strategy and team capability.
- Work with experienced specialists across local and global offices.
