Position Type: Contract Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and technically capable Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join a growing project and operations support team within a major industrial processing environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of brownfield upgrades, operational improvements, commissioning activities, and control system enhancements, providing exposure to both project delivery and day-to-day plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SCADA system modifications and improvements.
- Support troubleshooting and fault-finding across control and instrumentation systems.
- Configure and optimise field instrumentation and control equipment.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance and engineering stakeholders.
- Support commissioning and start-up activities.
- Contribute to plant improvement and reliability initiatives.
- 3-5 years' experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Experience working with SCADA systems within industrial environments.
- Exposure to PLC programming and control systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communications and networking principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Industrial networking exposure.
- Instrumentation configuration and calibration knowledge.
- Experience supporting commissioning and operational environments.
- Exposure to process plant, mining, resources, manufacturing or heavy industrial operations.
- Diverse and technically challenging work.
