We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to join our Project team, supporting civil and electrical construction scopes on a major resources project. You will be responsible for delivering and continuously improving health, safety and environmental outcomes — ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, company procedures and client expectations across site operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support project HSE initiatives to ensure compliance with company procedures, legislative requirements and project objectives.
• Manage hazard identification, risk controls, incident investigations, return-to-work programs and workers compensation processes.
• Monitor and report on project HSE performance, including lead and lag indicators, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams to support safe and successful project delivery.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, leadership and active participation in project meetings and operations.
• Identify and implement practical solutions to improve HSE performance and overall project outcomes.
• Foster collaborative working relationships and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.
What You'll Bring
• 1–3 years' experience in an HSE role.
• Cert IV or higher in Work Health & Safety (essential).
• Previous experience within the construction industry (highly regarded).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
• Australian working rights.
