As the HSE Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to project teams, providing practical safety leadership and ensuring health, safety and environmental standards remain at the forefront of daily operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coaching and mentoring supervisors and work crews on safe work practices
- Conducting inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
- Promoting a proactive and positive safety culture on site
- Monitoring compliance with project, environmental and legislative requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across HSE systems
You'll be a confident safety professional who enjoys building relationships on site and influencing positive safety outcomes through collaboration rather than enforcement.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in Oil & Gas, civil construction, earthworks or major project environments
- Strong understanding of HSE legislation, standards and industry best practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to coach, mentor and influence teams at all levels
- Experience conducting audits, inspections and investigations
- Internal or Lead Auditor qualifications across integrated management systems would be highly regarded
