This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on data acquisition, validation, and interpretation, working closely with geology, drilling, and operations teams.
Roster: 8/6 FIFO from Perth
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality geotechnical core logging in line with industry standards
- Analyse, validate, and interpret geotechnical datasets from field programs
- Perform diamond core logging and televiewer picking with accuracy and consistency
- Support drilling program planning and execution
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritise and optimise drilling activities
- Degree qualified in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining Engineering or Geology
- Proven experience in geotechnical core logging methodologies
- Strong ability to interpret and validate geotechnical data
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, team-first mindset
- Experience in Australia's resources sector(iron ore highly regarded)
- Exposure to Pilbara geology advantageous
