Initially Perth-based, this position will transition into a FIFO roster as the project progresses, offering the chance to be directly involved in the delivery and execution phase of a major project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead environmental, heritage and approvals activities across the project lifecycle.
- Manage environmental and heritage survey programs, regulatory approvals, permits and licences.
- Coordinate specialist consultants, technical teams and key stakeholders.
- Support engineering and project delivery teams by integrating environmental requirements into design and planning activities.
- Identify and mitigate environmental and heritage risks to support project outcomes.
- Oversee water approvals, licensing requirements and associated compliance obligations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, Traditional Owners and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience leading environmental approvals and compliance activities on large-scale resource, infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of Australian environmental legislation, approvals pathways and compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing environmental consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of heritage management, environmental impact assessments and risk management processes.
- Exposure to water licensing, hydrogeological investigations and associated regulatory requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience using GIS and environmental data to support project decision-making.
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in environmental approvals, compliance and project delivery environments.
- Proven ability to influence project outcomes and work effectively across technical and operational teams.
- Full Australian working rights are mandatory.
